Few hours left for the Tata IPL 2022 first match.Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Saturday (March 26).

The clash between the two teams will be the repeat of the IPL 2021 Final where CSK, under the leadership of former CSK skipper MS Dhoni, defeated Eoin Morgan’s KKR by 27 runs to lift their fourth IPL trophy.The tournament opener will be held at Mumbai’s iconic Wankhede Stadium with a 25 per cent crowd allowed at the venue.

9. Kolkata Knight Riders :

Kolkata Knight Riders have made big changes to their squad and appointed a new captain in Shreyas Iyer. There are quite a few players from the previous season in the KKR squad but overall the team bears a fresh look.

Coach Brendon McCullum’s side defied all odds in the second phase of the IPL 2021 – which was held in the UAE – to not just enter the playoffs but also get to the finals.Pat Cumminns and Aaron finch will miss few matches for the KKR team.

All eyes will be on newly appointed Captain of the franchise Ravindra Jadeja to defend the title for the yellow brigade.Once again team managment relies on their old core group to get their fifth title.

CSK will be missing the services of Moeen Ali in the opening game as the English all-rounder hasn’t yet arrived in the country due to a VISA issue. While their main pacer Deepak Chahar is recovering from an injury.

The biggest cricketing league in the world yes we are talking about Indian premier league (IPL) is coming back from 26th March to entertain us once again.Tata IPL 2022 is going to be different as 10 teams will contest with each other for the IPL trophy this season.

Lucknow Super Giants(LSG) and Gujrat Titans(GT) are those two new teams that will play their first ever IPL.KL Rahul will lead the LSG while Hardik pandya will captaining Gujrat Titans.Both teams have to start good to make their fan base.

For this 10 team IPL,BCCI organized Mega IPL Auction where all franchise rebuild their teams with existing retain players.Ishan Kishan bags the biggest deal with 15.25 CR while players like Raina and Morgan gone unsold.

Franchise pick their players in the IPL Mega Auction with purse of worth 90 Cr.Many teams rebuild their team with their old players like CSK,MI and Delhi while RCB,SRH and RR pick a different squad to restart their journey from zero.

IPL 2022 Auction : Ishan Kishan bags 15.25 cr,Livingston goes big for 11.50 cr,Suresh Raina unsold |

Tata IPL auction 2022 is finished as all franchise pick their players to build a strong team for Main action.On the last day of auction Liam Livingston bags the biggest deal given by PBKS while Unavailable Jofra Archer goes in Mumbai Indians camp.Ishant Sharma and Suresh Raina goes unsold.

India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan became the most expensive player to be bought on Day 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auction as Mumbai Indians (MI) bought him for ₹15.25 crore. Kishan is now the second most expensive Indian player to be ever snapped up at the auctions after Yuvraj Singh (₹16 crore in 2015)

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday broke the bank for Shreyas Iyer, who became the most expensive marquee player, going to the Shahrukh Khan-owned franchise for ₹12.25 crore.

Deepak Chahar (₹14 crore, Chennai Super Kings) is the most expensive bowler, thus far, while Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has managed to hire the services of the joint costliest all-rounders in Harshal Patel and Wanindu Hasaranga (₹10.75 crore).

Avesh Khan became the most expensive uncapped player when the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) picked him for ₹10 crore.Also Shahrukh Khan goes for ₹ 9 crore in the punjab kings(PBKS) camp.

On Day 2 of the Tata IPL auction Liam Livingston bags the biggest deal of the day and become second costliest English player after Ben Stokes.PBKS pick Livingston for whooping ₹ 11.50 crore.

Jofra Archer will be the companion of Jasprit Bumrah in 2023 IPL as he is unavailable for 2022 IPL.Mumbai Indians choose him for ₹ 8 crore.Apart from Jofra Mumbai Indians pick singapore based Tim David for ₹ 8.25 crore in their team.

Mr.IPL aka Chinna thala Suresh Raina will be no longer part of the IPL 2022 as Chennai Super Kings didn’t bid for him.Even in second round CSK didn’t give name of Raina for bidding.Although CSK pick Devon Conway for Raina’s Place.

The 15th Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auction is all set to take place on February 12 and 13, with as many as 590 players going under the hammer. Initially, a total of 1214 players had registered to be in the auction for the 2022 edition of the T20 league. But, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) trimmed down the list to 590 players whose names will be taken at the 2-day event in Bengaluru.

New Zealand beat India to Clinch World Test Championship mace

New Zealand enjoyed the greatest triumph in their cricket history as they beat India by eight wickets in the inaugural World Test Championship final at Southampton.After 144 years of Test Cricket New Zealand emerges as First World Test Champions.Kyle Jamieson elected as Man of the Final.

Two years on from their agonising Super Over loss to England in the 50-over World Cup final at Lord’s, New Zealand’s men claimed their first major global title. Set a victory target of just 139 in 53 overs, New Zealand finished on 140-2 with more than seven overs left after the match was extended into the reserve sixth day after two days’ play were completely washed out.

Indian team resumes last day from 64 for 2 with Virat and Pujara on the pitch but they couldn’t stretch the indian inning Courtesy Kyle Jamieson’s Brilliant Bowling.Rishabh Pant was the highest Scorer from India in the second inning with an 88 ball 41 runs.Then Trent Boult Came into the attack and dismissed Pant and Ashwin.Southee stops the cameo of Mkhammed Shami and ends the Indian inning.Indian team could only added 106 runs in their overnight score.

New Zealand Openers starts well as they play very cautiously against first few overs of Pacers but then Ravi Ashwin turns the table with two quick Wickets of both Openers.Two new Batsmen and New Zealand team’s Best two batsamem were on the crease.

Both Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor played with calm and composed to stretch the kisi inning.Willimaom score 52* while Ross Taylor(47*) finished the match with a four to clinch the World Test Championship.

Indian Pacers performance was so disappointed in the second inning especially.Ishant was looking tired whereas Bumrah were finding his line lenth and leaking the runs.Shami was superb in first inning but couldn’t done it again.

Apart from their Bowling Indian team batting was the main reason behind this defeat.In first inning on one point India were 149/3 and sums up to only 217.In the second inning they showed same with their bat.

New Zealand team came to this match very prepared and their sheer calm approach led them to be the first ever World Test Champions.Credit goes to Kivi’s Bowlers who restrict Indian batsmen to lower score and Kane Williamson who lead this team from past two years of WTC.

This Final marked the culmination of a two year Cycle of series to find the first official World Test Chamipons.
